Cedella and Skip Honored

Three time GRAMMY award winning recording artist Cedella Marley and her son, Skip Marley were honored with awards at last night’s 35th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held last night at the Center for the Arts in Coral Springs, Florida.

Cedella Marley was honored with two special IRAWMA Awards: A Lifetime/Hall of Fame Award (for more than 35 Years of Outstanding Contributions to the Music  Industry) and the Marcus Garvey Humanitarian Award.  

 

Skip Marley Iwrarm Skip Marley had three total nominations including Best Music Video for his single “Life,” and received his first IRAWMA Award as the winner of the Best New Entertainer category.

DEVIN DI DAKTA & J.L TEAM UP WITH TAXI AND TUFF GONG TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE ”AYO AYO” (REMIX BY ZJ SPARKS)


Devin Di Dakta & J.L are about to release their first album Reggae For Her on Taxi Records and Tuff Gong International. Their first single being serviced to radio today is “Ayo Ayo” remixed by ZJ Sparks which is set to be one this year’s songs of the summer for this breakout duo.  The remix was co- produced by Tricia ‘ ZJ Sparks’ Spence for Twelve Records & Dan Grossman and Michael Gore for Loud City Music.

Starting today, you have one week to post a picture of yourself on Instagram using the hashtag #REGGAEFORHER. Make sure to tag Devin Di Dakta & J.L and Tuff Gong.
