Tour Detailed Description
As the springboard in the preparation and perfection of an artiste’s performance and recording, our Rehearsal Room is the first stop on this guided, edu-taining and interactive revelation of music making’s intricacies. Replete with stage, mics and stands, instruments to include one of Bob Marley’s very own grand pianos, keyboard, trap drums, control board, mirrors plus seating, this tour will explore this entity’s history and purpose. Our Rehearsal Room has been the ideal honing space for a great many of the greatest names in the world’s music industry; past, present and those yet to come.
Along your musical journey, you will see and hear about “Ride Natty Ride” the tour transport truck purchased by the Legend himself. Follow internationally famous footsteps into our Artiste’s Lounge, Engineer’s Room and our Recording Studio, one of the Caribbean’s largest live recording spaces. Globe-trotting mega-stars consider the validation of any credible resume in reggae is a recording in this space, so steeped in the Legend’s history. See some of the Honourable Robert Nesta Marley’s OM very own musical instruments. View photographs and learn about the family, the band, and the many other international icons in the company of the great man himself. Plus you will learn how compact discs are made, duplicated and labeled for worldwide distribution.
Walk through one of the planet’s few remaining operational vinyl record manufacturing plants, and discover first-hand how records are made, from the original acetate disc and vinyl pebbles, to the final pressed 45 or LP. See automatic and manual pressing equipment and learn how they work.
Herbs and medicinal plants have always featured greatly in lives of Rastafarians and our Herbal Garden provides points-of-interest and suggestions as to the traditional uses of some of our plants. Of course, always consult your health care provider.
Relax, purchase vinyl records or compact discs, secure those must have gift items, grab a snack, quench your thirst, sign our visitor’s book and enjoy some great reggae music. Its all here, easily accessible and available. Uncover your own island identity during this “One Love” excursion.
Tour Accessibility and Activity Level
This 75 minute cultural excursion covers about 1380 feet in an easy leisurely walk and is handicap accessible for guests with collapsible wheelchairs and walkers. There are only 3 steps or stair like fixtures of which only 1 is greater than 1 step up. 3 restrooms are available to patrons along the tour pathway. We suggest international guests wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, and use insect repellent and sunscreen.

Customer Restrictions
Videography in any and all forms is not allowed. Photography is allowed in specific areas with our guides’ instruction.
Tour Availability and Schedule
Tours are available Mondays to Saturdays every day with the following exclusions: Christmas Day (Dec. 25), Boxing Day (Dec. 26), New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Bob Marley’s Birthday. We require an appointment for groups of over 10 persons for Saturday tours.
The first tour of the day, at Tuff Gong International is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am and a new tour begins every half hour thereafter continuing to 4pm. That is 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, till 4:00 pm. In addition to the excluded dates above, the last tour begins at 12 noon on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Standard pricing for our “The Making of the Music” Tour ticket is:
Adult – US$20 per person
Child – US$10 per person
USD $5 per Student with valid Jamaican school ID
Standard pricing for our Combo “One Love” Tour ticket (same day visit to both Tuff Gong International and Bob Marley Museum) is:
Adult – US$40 per person
Child – US$24 per person
Standard pricing for Bob Marley Museum’s Tour ticket is:
Adult – US$25 per person
Child – US$12 per person
USD $5 per Student with valid Jamaican school ID
Child Definition
Aged 4 – 12 years with ID should we require. We will not charge for toddlers and infants 3 years and below who are accompanied by a paying adult.
Payments
Payments are accepted in cash or by credit card prior to the commencement of a tour.
Please note that we do not operate as a cambio and are only authorized to give change in Jamaican currency.
Tour Group Size and Minimums
Typically we cater to small groups of 2 to 15 guests. Larger assemblages may be regrouped to facilitate a better appreciation of this excursion. The minimum number of customers to confirm a tour is 2.
Vehicles and Transportation
Parking is provided inside our property (subject to availability) for vehicles up to 25 seater buses; no larger than a coaster bus. Larger vehicles may choose to park on the curb parallel to the property. There are no vehicles involved during this excursion.
